Sean J. McCarthy

Sean J. McCarthy is a Partner in the Boston office.  He represents and advises design professionals in complex construction matters throughout the United States, and has extensive experience in commercial litigation, environmental litigation, and insurance coverage issues.  He has tried numerous jury cases to successful verdicts, and has prevailed for his clients at all stages of litigation and alternative dispute resolution in both the state and Federal courts, including on summary judgment and appeal.

Prior to joining Donovan Hatem in 2017, Sean practiced construction law at a small Massachusetts firm and as in-house counsel at the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group.
