Ryan Moore is an Associate in the firm’s Professional Practices Group with over eight years of experience. Ryan’s practice has primarily focused on the representation of developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and their carriers in all aspects of construction litigation. As an accomplished attorney with expertise in the resolution and defense of construction defect claims, he has handled all aspects of complex civil litigation. His experience includes successfully prosecuting and defending against mechanic’s liens, and through the use of sound litigation strategies and initiatives, he has defended clients against claims ranging from $1,000 to multi-millions. Moreover, realizing the steep costs of litigation, he is adept at all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor, Ryan worked as a civil project engineer and estimator for a construction company where he estimated and managed complex and technical general civil/heavy highway projects.

- 8-18 Colonial Way HOA v. James Kavanagh: Defense of developer in multi-family construction defect litigation; resolved $1,100,000 claim for $200,000 paid by subcontractor insurance carriers
- Park Townsend HOA v. Park Townsend, LLC: Defense of developer and general contractor in 98-unit multi-family construction defect case; took numerous expert witness depositions, including lead cost estimator for plaintiff, resulting in reduction of $5.7 million claim by over two-thirds
- Performance Excavators v. City of Chico Redevelopment Authority (Humboldt Road Project): Represented general contractor and surety; obtained seven-figure settlement of $7,400,000 wrongful termination and Government Code claim in mediation; managed over 150,000 documents from numerous parties, case e-discovery plan and conducted a dozen depositions
