Led by Sue Yoakum, the presentation will focus on risks that occur during construction phase services. With more and more projects under construction, this seminar explores the risks, responsibilities, and potential liabilities for design professionals that can arise during the construction phase services. Risks to be discussed include value engineering, shop drawing reviews, submittal reviews, substitution requests and documentation that is beneficial when resolving a claim. Sue will also discuss how to assist attorneys in the event of a claim.
