Increasingly, Project Owners are exploring new and alternative forms of "relationship" project delivery approaches under which the Owner, Design Professional and Construction Contractor integrate and collaborate far more than in the past, and in which the Design Professional assumes new roles and responsibilities, with corresponding transformations in the character of both risk and opportunities.

Presented by David J. Hatem, this session addresses some of these alternative approaches-including Project Alliancing, Integrated Project Delivery, and Public-Private Partnerships-with a particular focus on professional liability risk and insurance implications for the Design Professional in these various approaches.
