Experience

Kenneth B. Walton is a Founding Partner of the Boston-based law firm, Donovan Hatem. Ken focuses his practice on the defense of professionals, including financial broker/dealers, directors and officers, architects, engineers, surveyors, stockbrokers, insurance agents and real estate brokers. He also represents insureds in employment and general liability matters and insurers in coverage disputes. Ken represents clients in Federal and State courts, in both jury and nonjury cases, in Massachusetts and Connecticut. He is recognized for his expertise in law related to the defense of professional liability claims. In addition, he has been heavily involved in the representation of consulting engineers and construction managers, providing services to major Boston-area construction projects, including the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority’s Boston Harbor Cleanup Project and the Massachusetts Transit Authority’s Central Artery/Tunnel Project. Ken has handled over one hundred mediations, arbitrations and trials throughout the country. After graduating from law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Frank H. Freedman in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Ken also serves as a panel member on medical malpractice matters in Suffolk County.
