Jennifer A. Lincoln



Jennifer Lincoln is an Associate in the Professional Practices Group concentrating primarily on advising and representing design professionals in drafting, negotiating and evaluating contracts. She is experienced in developing risk management protocols for design and construction clients, and managing project-specific insurance policies. Jennifer also focuses her practice on managing claims currently in dispute by planning defense strategies, projecting defense costs, reviewing discovered materials, analyzing expert witness reports, and evaluating damages sought.

Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer worked as legal counsel and contracts specialist for a full-service construction and architectural firm in the MENA region, where she oversaw contract review and dispute resolution for all services including supervision, construction management, design, infrastructure, sustainability and planning, landscape, and development projects. Jennifer has also previously negotiated several complex contracts valued at over $1 billion in project costs and has previously served as project management contract/claims specialist for the $40-billion King Abdul Aziz Road project in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

  • Compilation and negotiation of the professional services agreement for the engineering services provider on the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Green Line Extension Design-Build Project in Boston, Massachusetts.
  • Successful negotiation of the professional architectural services agreement for the Virgin Orbit satellite launch vehicle system in Long Beach, California.
  • Successful negotiation of architectural services agreement for design-build project for Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire.
  • Risk analysis and evaluation of an agreement for structural peer review services for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art project in Los Angeles, California.
  • Successful negotiation of a master agreement for civil engineering and architectural design services for the for WalMart retail centers in Honolulu, Hawaii.
  • Legal review and composition of Qualification Based Selection information for vertical and horizontal projects at the federal and Commonwealth levels for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts’ website.
  • Composition of indemnity articles to protect engineer in proposed UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) use during construction project.
  • Representation of project management and construction engineering firm in arbitration regarding deterioration in constructed pipeline for city’s wastewater system in Salalah, Oman.
