    Karen Edwards, Director of Administration and Finance

    Karen Edwards is the Director of Administration and Finance for Donovan Hatem LLP.  She is responsible for all administrative functions of the firm which include accounting, billing, client services, facilities, human resources, library services and information technology.  She joined the firm at its inception in 2001.

    Karen has over twenty years of management and finance experience in various industries, nine years of which has been in law firms.  She received her B.A. in Child Development from Stonehill College and her MBA from Bentley College with a concentration in Finance.

    Lesley Leonard, Director of Human Resources

    Lesley Leonard is the Director of Human Resources for Donovan Hatem LLP. She oversees and administers all benefits programs, non-legal and legal recruiting, and employee relations for the firm. Prior to joining Donovan Hatem in March 2007, Lesley has held Human Resources management positions for over eleven years in the real estate industry and while on active duty with the U.S. Army. Lesley attended the University of Vermont where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She earned an Executive Masters of Business Degree in May 2007 from Suffolk University in Boston. She is also an active member of the Society for Human Resources Managers.

    Maria Binieris, Billing Manager

    Maria Binieris has been a Billing Manager at Donovan Hatem LLP since the firm opened in 2001, and previously worked with David J. Hatem and the Professional Practices Group for an additional four years as the Billing Coordinator. She is responsible for overseeing the firm's billing, collections, and conflicts operations. Prior to joining Donovan Hatem LLP, Maria worked for 10 years as a litigation paralegal and 3 years as an Office Manager. She received a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Northeastern University and a Certificate in Office Administration Studies from Katherine Gibbs School. She is currently enrolled at the Harvard University Extension School in the Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree program.

    Maria Krentzman, Accounting Manager

    Maria Krentzman is the Accounting Manager for Donovan Hatem LLP, where she oversees the daily accounting function of the firm. She joined the firm in 2003 with more than 20 years of law firm accounting experience having worked at Schnader Harrrison Goldstein and Manello LLP before joining Donovan Hatem LLP. She is a member of the National and Boston Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators. Maria received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, cum laude, from Northeastern University in Boston, where she majored in Accounting and Management.

    Frank Kelleher, Facilities Manager

    Frank Kelleher has been Facilities Manager at Donovan Hatem LLP since 2004 and has 40 years of customer service experience. As Facilities Manager he oversees construction and build out, tenant/landlord issues, office supply contracts, mailing services, equipment purchases, and records management.

    Jill Szynski-Serino, Librarian

    Jill Szynski-Serino is the librarian at Donovan Hatem LLP and is responsible for all library functions within the firm. She has been a professional librarian since 1984 when she graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a Master of Library Science Degree. With over twenty years experience in the field, she has worked in various public and law libraries in a variety of positions. Her experience includes working as a community outreach librarian, public relations, reference, serials, and other library functions in small to large law firm libraries. Previously, Jill has written law library book reviews for the publication "Legal Information Alert" and authored a humor book published by Ivory Tower Press. She is a member of the Association of Boston Law Librarians and has been appointed treasurer for the next two years (2006-2008).
